The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) and Public Health Solutions launched a smoke-free policy in and around public housing buildings. As part of the campaign, we produced a documentary that included the experiences and reflections of staff, residents, youth leaders and other stakeholders. We also partnered with both organizations to provide the youth leaders with an opportunity to learn more about filmmaking, participate in shaping the smoke-free story and help implement these policies in their own homes and communities.
